Questi tre piccoli acquerelli sono il mio omaggio a Poggio di Groppallo, il piccolo paese sull'Appennino dove ho passato un piacevole periodo di vacanza, ospite dell'amica acquarellista Elvira Bambini .
Dear friends here I am again to admire your work and share my watercolors with you. I hope you all have had a beautiful and productive holidays.
These three small watercolors are my tribute to Poggio di Groppallo, the little village on the Apennines, where I spent a pleasant period of holiday, as guest of the watercolorist friend Elvira Bambini .

Hi Tito I am glad to see you back and it's very nice to read you have a beautiful holiday. When I see your paintings I do believe it. Again such a beautiful work. The village and the panorama, it's awesome. I can enjoy your work again.

RispondiEliminaWhat a lovely place, and you've portrayed it so beautifully! I really like the abstract quality of "Poggio di Groppallo"... the way that you painted it helps capture the feeling that one would have when looking at the cheery jumble of colorful homes. I also like all the greens that you used in the evergreen painting, and the way they create contrast as well as unity. Very well done!

I find the way you depicted the buildings in the first painting very interesting, very fresh and loose in both brush-stroke and color choices, at the same time creating the impression of having much detail.
