Here in Milan we continue to have beautiful sunny days and snow is not seen yet. Anyway, we are in the middle of winter and for a watercolourist the subjects with the snow always have a very strong appeal. As in these two works painted during the courses of Master Gorlini.

Two beautiful and serene winter landscapes! Looking at the first one, for example, I was marveling how with the use of subtle colors and shapes you managed to create interest in that relatively ordinary scene.
Soooo pretty! You do a beautiful job with snow, making it seem so warm and softly inviting. These are wonderful!

These are stunning! I particularly like the second one with the distant figure. We have managed to escape the snow so far this year too. Fingers cross it stays that way! :0)
